Kristina Maccaro, Co Owner + Creative Director of Love Lane Salon, is a hairstylist specializing in balayage and bridal styling.

Kristina Maccaro’s years studying at The Fashion Institute of Technology proved instrumental to her career. Her fashion design degree provided an unforeseen foundation for coloring and coiffing. Hair didn’t just “stick” for Kristina, it became a career she passionately immersed herself in as it allowed her to create a tangible beauty and forge cherished client relationships.

Nowadays Kristina, who cut her teeth at the world renowned Frederic Fekkai flagship location, can be found behind the chair in her salon in Downtown Jersey City. She built Love Lane Salon on a foundation of technical excellence and outstanding customer service. Her firm belief that hair color should be customized for each client to compliment and enhance their natural beauty, has gained her a cult like following. Drawing inspiration from each client's natural tones and texture, her balayage highlights leave each head of hair rich in dimension and strategically placed tonality. Kristina also specializes in bridal styling. She has a gift for creating the perfect hairstyle to compliment each bride's unique day.

An amateur botanist and lover of hockey, Kristina has a fondness for thrift store finds and lakeside afternoons with her husband and pugs. Part of what sets Kristina apart is that she always remembers to make hairdressing as fun as it is transformative.
